Patrick Argiro aka Cousin Pat is a U.S. Air Force Veteran, Licensed Therapist with a PhD in Counseling, 2 masters: 1 Masters in Counseling and 1 Masters in Christian Counseling and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), A Certified Trauma Professional (CTP), a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist (CGCS), is an Ordained Minister, and a Certified Life Coach. Patrick was homeless for 3 years, suicidal, went through a nasty divorce, filed bankruptcy, was admitted twice in a Mental Hospital, dealt with depression, anxiety, PTSD, Trauma and grief and lifted himself out of this place of destruction to better his life. Patrick suffers from chronic pain which also led to a pill addiction and a TBI. With the proper help he was able to manage and deal with those situations as well.  Patrick Arrigo’s passion is helping people with trauma and grief. Initially he started down this path to help himself  while helping others by studying the field of mental health.  He wants happiness and to prosper for himself and for others. It doesn’t matter if you are Christian or an atheist or anything else, Patrick can help you be the best version of you!   He is a very unique/unusual person and Christian.


Patrick Argiro aka Cousin Pat was born May 19, 1975. Already having an older cousin named Patrick, family members and friends began calling him Cousin Pat as to not be confused when calling his name.

After a nasty divorce that left Patrick broken he wound up at a mental hospital called Carrier clinic in New Jersey. Patrick then met his ex-girlfriend in the clinic and once outside the abuse began.

With a lack of education Patrick was homeless for 3 years and lived at the Salvation Army Homeless Shelter in St.Petersburg Florida and also at a Veterans Shelter in Clearwater, Florida called HEP or Homeless Emergency Project.

He also had to file for bankruptcy. Patrick did finish all his course work for a Bachelor’s degree while he was homeless.

After a car accident in which the other driver was texting and driving Patrick had to undergo 2 back surgeries and one neck surgery and lives in constant chronic pain.

This led to a pill problem where after speaking to a drug counselor and attending a NA meeting Patrick felt he could handle it and he was able to maintain control over his life and dealing with the pills and pain.

Patrick began to truly evaluate his life after falling in love with a second abusive woman and wondering why his choices were leading him down a certain path. He began studying mental health, going to church and looking for answers anywhere he could.

On November 18, 2021 Patrick’s father Nicholas Argiro died of Covid 19 which led Patrick down the path of learning about Grief and Trauma. Patrick has clearly had his issues with mental health, grief, PTSD, trauma, depression and anxiety.

Patrick then became a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) and Certified Grief Counseling Specialist (CGCS), is an Ordained Clergy, has received his Masters in Theology in Christian Counseling and is has a PhD in Christian Counseling as well as becoming a Licensed Counselor.

He was Featured on Sirius XM on The Lisa Show where he discussed his personal story as well as how people can cope with grief and trauma during this Covid Crisis.

Cousin Pat started his career in 2011 as a project manager as a contractor at Comcast Communications and after a brief period of working there, he did private work and took small independent projects while attending school. In 2014 he briefly worked as a project manager at WellCare Health Plans then joined Citi Bank as a (contractor) Senior Project Manager, where he worked for almost a year.[6]

In 2015, Cousin Pat joined Synergy Business Consulting as a project manager, where he worked for six months. He then started working at Great HealthWorks on the same post.

In 2016, Cousin Pat joined Octagon Technology Staffing as an ERP Coordinator where he worked for seven months.

In 2020, he started Cousin Pat Therapy with the aim to help people cope with trauma and depression In the same year, he also started working as a project manager for Independent Consultant. Subsequently, Cousin Pat also runs a YouTube show where he interviews industry giants in the premises of mental health. Cousin Pat’s shows and podcast episodes have been highly acclaimed and he has even featured on Sirius XM on The Lisa Show where he discussed his personal story as well as how people can cope with grief and trauma during this Covid Crisis.

On December 08, 2020, Cousin Pat was officially registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office as Patrick does treat patients who deal with chronic pain. By the end of 2021, Cousin Pat aims to start a newsletter that will circulate positive thoughts and life lessons to the subscribers and assist them to improve their mental health.[


Cousin Pat endured homelessness for three years and even went through a nasty divorce that affected his mental health on greater levels. He filed for bankruptcy. He was also a patient at two mental hospitals called Carrier Clinic in New Jersey and PEMHS in Florida. Cousin Pat also became addicted to pills due to chronic pain from a car accident in 2014.

On November 18, 2021, Cousin Pat’s father, Nicholas Argiro, died of Covid 19, which induced severe trauma and ultimately motivated him to help others suffering from the same thing.
